The family News letter

I was running out of room si I had to start a new one . Anyways we eventually went home and that's when the dreaded knock at the door came and the truth had to be told. I called they guy and told him the dog would be brought back and that my family was going to piut an ad in the paper amd try to find the owner. We didn't go door to door because it got dark so soon and I don't trust our neighbors. My sister came over with the dog and we went to bring it back, before we left the dog shit on my carpet. As we walked up the hill I noticed a cop car and I knew then they assumed we stole it, the woman was crying and grabbed the dog back and started to yell around. Now it seems most people think that I should've gotten in her face and given her a taste of her own medicine but with a police officer and my daughter in the picture that wasn't the smart thing to do. I know those type of people they act all tough to a 9 year old and in front of a cop. But if no one was around she would've been kissing ass and acting pitiful. These are the kind of hirls I used to beat up. The best thing to do is to listen and let them rant and rave. I apologized and for the show of it shook hands and even shed a tear in sincerity and we left. I went home and talked to my girls. Many people like to try and have an opinion on how I parent but I must be doing something right if everyone knows my girls wouldn't do this. They admitted to lying about a few things in hopes that they could keep this dog. I've lied and done some things not to be proud of in my younger days and they know this. I'm honest and open with my girls about these situations. And they are fine with it Amayah just didn't want it announced to everyone because she was embarrassed about it. But we all know how impossible it is in our family(hahaha) It's a good lesson in lying and now we all know how much my girls want a dog. So much they are willing to "dog snatch"!! Just kidding

Super Mama

My Girls

Now it's my time to post about the infamous dog snatching incident. After a long day of work I came home to rest and take a nap. My girls asked to play outside, I hesitated like I always do because I don't trust many of the people we live by. I'd say an hour or so later they come walking in with a puppy and tell me they found it on the road shivering and crying. It had a scratch on it's nose and they thought it might have been abandoned or beat up. Of course they wanted to keep the poor thing but if anyone knows Don he doesn't want animals in out house because of his ceremonial items. I told them to go and try to find the owner since I have seen a dog like this one before while checking the mail. They came back and told me they took it to a person who has a full size version of this dog and they would keep it till the owner is found. They also said they looked at other places. I called my mother to tell her and she said to tell the people if the owner isn't found they would take the dog. My children got all excited and took off back to the house, within minutes they came back with the dog and said the people were on the way out to take it to the pound. I kept asking them if they were sure since they usually don't lie to me. And the dog was brought to my mothers house. It was exciting and my kids were happy and giddy over this animal. They have been wanting a pet dog so bad and I felt bad that they've been wishing for so long and Don has been adamant about not having one. It makes me angry that he doesn't even know how happy a dog could manke them. For these reasons I was willing to try to keep this dog. even my parents were happy for a couple of hours.
