Happy Mama!
As I was sitting at home by myself today, I was thinking about how my girls have grown and seem to be growing up so quickly. I miss them when they were younger like in those pictures. I was also feeling bad for myself because it seems as a mom no one acknowledges the sacrifices, hardships and things I do without for my children. And I came to the realization that my own mother must have felt this way. I know it wasn't until I was older did I appreciate everything she did for us. Happy Mother's day Mommy!! I love you and I've learned to be a great mom from you!! I'm glad that my girls are happy, healthy, and growing up to be strong native women! Happy mother's day to my Grammma who also had a hand in teaching me to be a mom. I love these two wonderful women!! Happy mother's day to you both!!

Thanks, Nona, I thought of you while I was gambling at the Black Bear yesterday, when I heard the song "cool, cool kitty" and shortly after that they played "Alvira",'oomphtha mau mau'. I use to get a kick out of the way you sang "Little Red Riding Hood" ahwooo-oooooooo! My how time flies, I wish for those days again. Love you, Gram
